Welcome to Casa 700 Mangos – House Rules

We are so happy you chose Casa 700 Mangos for your Mexican vacation. We hope you enjoy the tropical gardens, pool, beautiful surroundings and all that Manzanillo has to offer.

We have put a great deal of care into making Casa 700 Mangos a comfortable and welcoming home for our guests. We kindly ask that you treat the property with the same respect and care you would your own home.

Please take a few minutes to review these House Rules at the beginning of your stay. If anything is unclear, please ask us. We are always happy to help.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-In: 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Check-Out: By 11:00 AM

If you require an early check-in, please contact us in advance. Same-day requests may not be possible. An early arrival fee of MX$400 / CAD$33 / USD$23  may apply.

Late check-out must be arranged in advance and is subject to availability. A late check-out fee of MX$425 / CAD$35 / USD$25 may apply.

Once guests have checked in, refunds are not provided for early departures.

Occupancy & Registered Guests

Maximum occupancy is 4 registered guests per villa unless special arrangements have been approved by the Hosts in advance. Your rate is based on two-person occupancy. Per Night surcharge, per guest, applies to extra adults over 2 guests MX $200; CDA $16; USD $12. Exceptions may be made for 5 people in the Villa. A large air mattress is available for extra sleeping accommodations.  Up to 3 children allowed with 2 adults. Per Night Surcharge applies for 3rd child (under 13 yrs)  MX $150; CDA $12; USD $10

Reservations may not be made on behalf of another person unless approved by the Hosts.

Overnight guests who are not included on the reservation are not permitted. Each villa may have up to two daytime visitors at a time. Please speak with us in advance if you would like to invite additional visitors. Registered guests are responsible for the conduct of their visitors and for any damage they may cause. Villa keys must never be given to visitors.

Quiet Enjoyment

Casa 700 Mangos is a peaceful residential property. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Parties and events are not permitted unless specifically approved by the Hosts in advance.

Please be considerate of our neighbours and other guests staying at Casa 700 Mangos.

Children

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Children under 12 may not be on the pool deck or in the pool area without direct adult supervision. Children wearing diapers or who are not fully toilet-trained are not permitted in the pool. Parents and guardians accept full responsibility for the safety and behaviour of children in their care.

Pool & Pool Deck

The pool and pool deck are shared areas for the enjoyment of registered guests and their approved visitors.

Please observe the following:

No glass is permitted in or around the pool area. Please use the acrylic drinkware provided. Please use beach/pool towels at the pool and beach. Lost beach towels carry a charge of  MX$400 / CAD$33 / USD$23.   Bath towels must remain inside the villa. Please dispose of all garbage in the appropriate receptacles and leave the pool area clean after use. Do not move villa furniture onto the pool deck. For your safety, running is not permitted on the pool deck. Guests must not access or walk along the outer perimeter of the pool deck facing the mango trees.

The pool deck has multiple levels. Please use caution when walking around the pool and surrounding areas. No suntan lotion or mosquito spray on your body while using the pool – always shower before entering the pool. Guests and their visitors use the pool and pool deck at their own risk.

Stairs & Property & Travel Safety

Casa 700 Mangos is located on a hillside property and has numerous stairs and changes in elevation. Guests must be physically able to safely navigate the property’s stairs, all of which are equipped with handrails.

 Please use extra caution around stairways, the pool, pool deck, outdoor shower and bathroom areas. Floors may be slippery when wet. 

We strongly recommend that all guests carry appropriate travel and medical insurance.

Smoking & Vaping

Casa 700 Mangos is a completely non-smoking property. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the villas or anywhere on the property. This includes tobacco, marijuana and vaping products. Guests who wish to smoke may do so on the street outside the property. Please dispose of cigarette butts safely and be especially cautious during the dry season. A MX$500 penalty may apply for smoking or vaping on the property.

Pets

Pets (dogs) are welcome with prior approval from the Hosts. A maximum of two approved pets (dogs) per villa is permitted. Pet fees and a refundable damage deposit will apply. Extra pet fees: Per pet, per day, (up to 40 lbs), an additional charge of MX$185 / CAD$15 / USD $11. Discounted monthly rate per animal: MX$3100 / CAD$250 / USD $180. A damage deposit of MX$6100 / CAD$500 / USD $360 will be required.  Please request for an application which shall be reviewed by the LANDLORD prior to acceptance.  The Casa 700 Mangos Pet Agreement forms part of these House Rules for guests travelling with pets.

Pets must never be left unattended in the villa or anywhere on the property. Please clean up after your pets immediately. Pets should not be permitted on beds, sofas or other furniture unless an appropriate protective covering is used. Guests are fully responsible for their pets and for any damage or additional cleaning resulting from their stay. 

Parking

One secured, covered parking space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional vehicles may be parked on the street. Commercial vehicles are not permitted to park on the property. A refundable MX$1,500 deposit is required for the garage door opener and will be returned at check-out upon return of the device.

Villa Care & Cleanliness

Please help us keep your villa beautiful for future guests. Do not eat in the bedrooms or place food or drinks on the beds. Wash dishes and leave the kitchen tidy. Please dispose of garbage in the main receptacle located in the carport. Trash pick up time is 8 am. There is a silver canister with lining in your kitchen for your wet garbage. 

Do not rearrange villa furniture.  Wet clothing and towels should be placed on the drying racks provided and not hung from balcony railings or around the pool deck.

Please do not leave food scraps outside on the terrace or pool deck, as Casa 700 Mangos is surrounded by tropical vegetation and food can attract wildlife.

A MX$500 additional deep-cleaning fee may apply if excessive cleaning is required.

Kitchen & BBQ Safety

Never leave the gas stove unattended while cooking. The stove cooks differently from an electric stove, so please remain nearby and ensure all burners are completely turned off after use.

If you are unfamiliar with the propane BBQ, please ask us for instructions. After using the BBQ, please clean it and ensure the propane is turned off at the tank.

Energy Conservation

Electricity is very expensive in Mexico, and your cooperation helps us keep our accommodation rates reasonable. Please turn off air conditioners, fans and lights whenever you leave your villa. Keeping patio doors and curtains closed during the hottest part of the day will help keep your villa cool. The air conditioning will cool the villa quickly when you return.

Cleaning & Laundry 

Weekly cleaning is optional including the laundering of bed linens and towels for MX$400 / CAD$33 / USD$23.  This fee is to be paid to the Landlord weekly and arranged in advance. Cleaning days are Tuesdays or Fridays (11:00 – 4pm)

A checkout cleaning fee of MX$920 / CAD$75 / USD$55 applies and is paid in advance in the final payment 30 days prior to check in.

Two loads of laundry per week are included. Additional loads are MX$35 / CAD$3 / USD $2 to wash and same to dry. The eco-friendly laundry and cleaning products provided are highly concentrated, so only a small amount is required.

TV & WIFI

The Firestick on the TV enables you to connect into your Prime or Netflix account (BRING YOUR PASSWORDS WITH YOU). Please be aware that not all programs seen in USA or Canada will be available in Mexico.  We offer you high speed wifi. Your password is in your villa. 

Drinking Water

One 5 gallon garafón of drinking water is provided complimentary in each villa upon arrival. Additional garafons are MX$50 each. Please give the Hosts approximately 24 hours notice when possible if you require additional water.

TOILETS and PLUMBING: 

Plumbing in Mexico is far different from Canada or USA. The pipes are considerably smaller in diameter. Abstain from putting bulks of toilet paper down the toilet, NO HAIR, and absolutely nothing is to be flushed unless it came out of your body. DO NOT ALLOW food particles to go down the kitchen drain. Scoop up all food bits and dispose of in your compost can.  

Security & Valuables

Although Casa 700 Mangos is located in a safe residential area, we encourage guests to lock their villa whenever they leave and overnight. Please use the in-villa safe for passports, cash and other valuables. 

Lost & Found

Please check your villa carefully before departure. Casa 700 Mangos cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings left behind. If an item needs to be packaged and returned, a MX$200 handling fee plus applicable shipping or courier charges will apply.

Damages & Responsibility

Guests are responsible for damage caused by themselves, their children, pets or visitors. A damage or security deposit may be required. Unauthorized parties or events may result in a MX$1000 / CAD$80 / USD$60 charge. Serious or repeated failure to comply with the House Rules may result in cancellation of the stay and guests being required to leave the property. Please report anything damaged or requiring attention to your Hosts as soon as possible. We would much rather know about a problem right away so we can help.

Check-Out Procedures

Before departing, please:

Strip all linens from the bed and along with soiled towels and kitchen linens, place on floor in bedroom.

Wash and put away kitchen dishes.

Leave the villa reasonably tidy.

Place the villa keys on the coffee table.

Return the garage opener, if applicable.

Place all garbage and compost in the main trash receptacle in the carport.

These House Rules are simply intended to protect you, our guest, our home, our pets, our neighbours and the peaceful atmosphere that makes Casa 700 Mangos special.
